ALEXIM is committed to a policy of zero tolerance against bribery and corruption in any of its forms, which promotes a culture of fighting against them and that allows it to conduct its businesses and operations with high ethical standards, in compliance with laws and regulations.
To this end, ALEXIM undertakes to:
- Manage, by established principles and in a structured and strategic manner, the risks of bribery and corruption associated with the business and its relationship with third parties.
- Continuously promote an ethical culture as an essential element for the prevention, detection, investigation, and remediation of bribery and corruption.
- Prevent damage to the image and reputation by adopting and complying with provisions that prohibit the commission of actions constituting bribery or corruption.
- Accurately present information and record transactions, as well as have internal controls to ensure that shareholders’ assets are adequately monitored and safeguarded.
ALEXIM Directors are committed to anti-bribery and anti-corruption management and are responsible for monitoring compliance with this policy. ALEXIM is also responsible for ensuring that the risks of bribery or corruption are managed, and the incidents presented are reported and investigated appropriately, and for taking the corresponding sanctioning actions as a deterrent to new acts of bribery or corruption.
Each employee is responsible for applying the criteria defined in this policy and for adjusting their actions according to the corporate values and guidelines established in the Code of Ethics and Conduct, as well as other related documents. Likewise, you are responsible for reporting potential cases of bribery or corruption of which you may become aware.

- Provide safe and healthy working conditions to prevent injuries and health deterioration for our employees, contractors, and work-related visitors. Furthermore, it eliminates hazards and reduces occupational health and safety risks as much as possible.
- Protect the environment and prevent pollution within the scope of our operations.
- Promote consultation and active participation of personnel and their representatives in the management system’s elements.
- Continuously improve organizational processes and our employees’ knowledge to achieve the objectives set by ALEXIM.
This Policy serves as a framework for establishing objectives and goals within our Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, BASC and C-TPAT Control and Security Management System.

It is ALEXIM’s policy, under law, to reject any act of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing, being committed to implementing an ML/TF Prevention System within the organization in accordance with the current legal framework. ALEXIM declares that: ALEXIM will not initiate or maintain commercial or contractual relationships with individuals or entities who fall under the following conditions:
- Individuals or legal entities if they, or any of their directors, managers, or shareholders, have been convicted of the crimes of Money Laundering, Terrorism Financing, or related predicate offenses such as Drug Trafficking, Tax and Customs Crimes, Illegal Mining, Kidnapping, Extortion, among others, at the national or international level.
- Individuals or legal entities if they, or any of their directors, managers, or shareholders, appear on the negative lists of: the OFAC List (Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Department of the Treasury), the United Nations Security Council Terrorist List, or lists related to the Financing of the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction issued by the UN Security Council.
- Individuals or legal entities if they, or any of their directors, managers, or shareholders, provide false and/or contradictory (inconsistent) information, which must be duly verified through documents, data, and information from an independent and reliable source.
